Framlenging sýningar – Myndir frá Kýpur | Photos from Nicosia

Ein ARKANNA, Sigurborg Stefánsdóttir, heimsótti Kýpur á dögunum, en þar stendur yfir bókverkasýningin  DRIFTING CLOUDS í sem opnaði 14. október í höfðingjasetri frá 18. öld: Hadjigeorghagis Kornesios Mansion í Nicosíu. Alls taka 37 listamenn þátt, en 9 ARKIR eiga verk á sýningunni: Anna Snædís Sigmarsdóttir, Arnþrúður Ösp Karlsdóttir, Áslaug Jónsdóttir, Bryndís Bragadóttir, Helga Pálína Brynjólfsdóttir, Ingiríður Óðinsdóttir, Kristín Þóra Guðbjartsdóttir, Sigurborg Stefánsdóttir og Svanborg Matthíasdóttir. Með sýningarstjórn fer Ruth Keshishian hjá Moufflon Bookshop, en sýningartíminn hefur nú verið framlengdur til 12. desember. Sýningin var einnig á dagskrá bókmenntahátíðar í Famagusta Gate Cultural Centre í Nisosíu 30. okt – 2. nóv. Hér má sjá nokkrar myndir af verkum á sýningunni.

DriftingClouds 3 Sigurborg

ARKIR member Sigurborg Stefansdottir travelled to Nicosia in Cyprus, where nine artist from the ARKIR group  participated in the book art exhibition DRIFTING CLOUDS, in The House of Hadjigeorghagis Kornesios in Nicosia. Thirty-seven artist from Europe participate in the exhibition, dedicated to the islands and the coast of Europe from North to the South as well as the drifting clouds that disregard all borders. Curator is Ruth Keshishian at Moufflon Bookshop, but the exhibition has just been extended from 14. October to 12. December 2015. The exhibition was also a part of the 2nd International Literary Festival in Famagusta Gate Cultural Centre, 30. Oct to 12. Dec. – a festival dedicated to the Nordic countries.
