Sýningaropnun í Portland | Borderland: Contemporary Icelandic Book Artists and Bookbinders

Þriðjudaginn 30. janúar 2018 opnar sýningin JAÐARLAND / BORDERLAND í KCC Center for Book Arts í University of Southern Maine í Portland, Maine, í Bandaríkjunum. Ellefu ARKIR og tveir bókbindarar frá bókbandsverkstæðinu Bóklist sýna verk sín. Sýningin stendur til 30. apríl og er öllum opin og ókeypis. Verk á sýningunni eiga: Anna Snædís SigmarsdóttirArnþrúður Ösp KarlsdóttirÁslaug JónsdóttirBryndís BragadóttirHelga Pálína BrynjólfsdóttirIngiríður ÓðinsdóttirKristín GuðbrandsdóttirKristín Þóra GuðbjartsdóttirJóhanna Margrét TryggvadóttirSigurborg Stefánsdóttir,  Svanborg Matthíasdóttir og bókbindararnir Ragnar Gylfi Einarsson og Guðlaug Friðriksdóttir. Sýningarstjóri er Rebecca Goodale.


Exhibition opening soon! The exhibition BORDERLAND will open in KCC Center for Book Arts at the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine, on January 30, at 4 pm. Exhibitors are all 11 members of ARKIR and two bookbinders from the bookbinding studio Bóklist. Open until April 30, 2018.
