ARKIR participate in a book art exhibition in Cyprus, opening today at Hadjigeorghagis Kornesios House in Nicosia. DRIFTING CLOUDS, the title of the exhibition, is inspired by Henrich Ibsen’s Peer Gynt where much of the play was written on the island of Ischia. The artists books and the theme relates to islands off the frayed coast of Europe, from north to the south. Curator is Ruth Keshishian, Moufflon Bookshop. The exhibition is open from 14th October to 18th November 2015 and is also a part of the 2nd International Literary Festival in Famagusta Gate Cultural Centre Oct. 30 to Nov. 2nd. with the theme: Crossing Borders, Connecting Cultures – dedicated to the Nordic countries.
